Three men from the same family have been arrested in Steuben County on charges they abused more than three dozen animals.
Acting on an anonymous tip, deputies seized 32 adult dogs, six puppies and a kitten that were left in the cold without food and water.
Donald, Gary and Garner Rush, of the Town of Howard, have handed ownership of the animals over to the Humane Society in Hornell.
