Sheriff's deputies have ticketed a driver who struck and injured a 6-year-old boy in a parking lot in Pittsford.
It happened yesterday afternoon at an office complex at 220 Linden Oaks Drive.
Deputies say the man was pulling out of his parking space and went forward instead of in reverse. His vehicle went over a curb and hit the boy.
The boy was checked out for pain in his wrist and bruises.
The driver was ticketed for an unsafe start and an uninspected vehicle.
