No Criminal Charges in Trevyan Rowe Death

The Monroe County District Attorney's Office says no criminal charges will be filed in the death of Rochester Middle School Student Trevyan Rowe.

The 14-year-old walked away from Rochester School Number 12 in March, and apparently fell from the Frederick Douglass Susan B Anthony Bridge into the Genesee River. His body was found in the river four days later.

Staff marked Rowe as "present" even though surveillance video showed he never went into the school building.

The State Education Department still has an open investigation into the case.
