Webster Central School District Student Diagnosed with Whooping Cough

The Webster Central School District says a student at Spry Middle School is being treated for Pertussis, also known as Whooping Cough.

School officials say a child who develops a persistent cough in the next three weeks, or who already has one, should see a doctor.

Vaccination is the best way to prevent children getting Whooping Cough.
