Adam Bello to Run for Monroe County Executive

Monroe County Clerk Adam Bello is making plans to run for County Executive.

He stopped short of announcing his candidacy last night, but received an endorsement from Democats in Brighton.

Bello is challenging incumbent Republican County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo.

Bello was the Irondequoit Town Supervisor when he was appointed to the Clerk's job in 2016, and he won an election later that year for a full term. Dinolfo served as Clerk before she was elected County Executive in 2015.

Adam Bello was sworn in as County Clerk in 2016
