A Rochester police sergeant is running for sheriff in Orleans County.
Brett Sobieraski plans to run in the Republican primary and announced his candidacy over the weekend in Holley. He has been with the Rochester Police Department for 30 years and has been profiled in the media many times for his long-distance and ultra-marathon running.
