Howard Schultz, Former Starbucks CEO Teases 2020 Run

A move seen by Democrats as a way to help Trump win re-election, ex Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz is stating that he is "seriously thinking" about running for president in 2020. Although he has endorsed and considered himself a democrat, Schultz says if he ran, it would be as an "centrist independent"

From CNN:

"We're living at a most fragile time," Schultz told CBS's Scott Pelley in a "60 Minutes" interview that aired on Sunday. "Not only the fact that this President is not qualified to be the president, but the fact that both parties are consistently not doing what's necessary on behalf of the American people and are engaged every single day in revenge politics."

Schultz has no political experience, and was initially rumored to be eyeing a presidential bid when he stepped down from the executive board at Starbucks last June.
