State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli is out with a list of 26 school districts in the state he says are in fiscal stress or susceptible to fiscal stress.
Only one district in our region is on either list -- the Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District had a score that put it at the bottom of the susceptible list.
The rankings are based on financial indicators that include year-end fund balance, cash position, short-term borrowing and patterns of operating deficits.
