Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo has released a year-end report about the county's economic development agency, Imagine Monroe.
During 2018, the agency approved 43 total projects that Dinolfo says will directly result in the creation of nearly 1,000 jobs, retention of nearly 2,000 jobs, and attraction of nearly $400 million in private investment in the county.
Projects receiving tax breaks and other assistance through Imagine Monroe yielded an average of 22 jobs secured per project.
