The Monroe Co. Sheriff’s Office says a Jail Deputy is no longer with the department following his October arrest on robbery, grand larceny and assault charges.
Authorities say Deputy Brandon Guidice had been suspended without pay several days after his arrest on October 16th. Authorities say he was separated from service effective today based on an ongoing criminal investigation.
He is accused of robbing and beating a person in a parking lot on Latta Road in Greece. Sheriff Todd Baxter says "Actions that bring discredit to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office will not be tolerated."
A second person was also arrested in October, in connection with the incident.
