The City of Rochester has worked out a deal allowing Pegula Sports and Entertainment to manage the Blue Cross Arena for the next 15 years.
The company took over management of the arena on an interim basis this summer when the city ended its agreement with SMG. Pegula Sports and Entertainment owns the Bills, Sabres, Amerks and Knighthawks.
Under the deal, it's affiliate and the City will each pay $3 million for improvements at the arena during the 15 year deal. City Council approval could come it a meeting December 18th.
