The United Way of Greater Rochester says its annual 24-hour ROC the Day fundraiser garnered nearly $700,000 for local not-for-profits.
Those funds include nearly $200,000 in challenge grants, bonuses and incentives. More than 7,400 individuals donated.
ROC the Day coincided with Giving Tuesday, a global effort to give back during the holiday season.
