Rushville Woman Accused of Stealing $440,000 From Victor Employer

A Rushville woman is being charged with grand larceny after authorities say she stole more than $440,000 dollars from her employer. 

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says 51-year-old Kimberly Payne was an office manager for a technology business in the Town of Victor and used her access to forge checks from the business checking account to pay her bills. S

he is also accused of transferring money from the business account to her own personal bank accounts. 

Authorities say the theft took place from 2007-2018.
