FRIDAY UPDATE: Irondequoit police say a truck matching the description of a vehicle they have been looking for, has been located. Irondequoit investigators are pursuing additional information to determine if this vehicle was involved in the accident. No one is in custody at this time.

Irondequoit Police are asking for the public’s help again in connection with the deadly hit-and-run last Saturday on Bayview Road.
Police say they are looking for any information regarding a truck hauling a yellow colored dumpster that they believe was in the area on the morning of the crash.
Eighty-seven-year-old Joan Dierna was struck and killed -- apparently as she crossed the street to check her mail.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
