A tow truck driver is fighting for his life after deputies say he was hit by a pickup truck while helping a disabled vehicle. The accident happened Tuesday on I-390 South near exit 11 in the Town of Rush around 11:40 p.m. The 34-year-old tow truck driver was outside of the vehicle when a pickup truck hit him. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. He is in guarded condition. The driver of the pickup truck was a 36-year-old woman. Police said drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this crash.
