A tow truck driver was nearly struck by a car while changing a customer's tire along Route 390 in Henrietta on Wednesday. Troy Capone responded for a call of a flat tire around 8:30 p.m. Capone said he and another employee were changing the tire when a car clipped the back of the truck. The men narrowly managed to jump to safety. The vehicle failed to follow New York’s Move Over Law. The incident is prompting the company and State DOT to remind drivers about New York’s Move Over Law. The DOT says 13,000 tickets were issued last year alone for drivers failing to move over.The violation could result in a $150 fine and 2 points on your license.
