Monroe County Democrats say Republican County Legislator Tony Micciche will switch his party affiliation and join the minority Democratic Caucus of the County Legislature.
Micciche was the Republican candidate last year for mayor of Rochester. He has been in the legislature for seven years.
Republicans will still hold a 17-12 majority after the switch.
