Man Charged With Animal Cruelty For Not Treating Dog With Tumor

A Bristol man was arrested for not treating his dog with a cancerous tumor. According to the Ontario County Humane Society, deputies were serving an eviction when they noticed a black lab named Sadie who could not walk on her right front paw. Sadie also had a torn toenail and an infected paw that was not being treated adequately. Humane Society officers took Sadie to be treated. The tumor was removed from Sadie's paw. Sadie's owner, 57-year-old Kenneth Lotta, was arrested and charged with animal cruelty. Lotta was issued an appearance ticket to appear in court at a later date and released.
