Substitute Teacher Charged With Child Endangerment, Misses Court Date

The substitute teacher who was arrested last month for inappropriate physical contact with a 14-year-old girl, has missed a court date. After Michael Costa did not appear in court last night in Parma, it was revealed he had been sent to jail October 5. It's not clear why.

Costa is charged with child endangerment for allegedly forcing himself on the girl in August.

After his arrest, he was suspended by the Rochester City School District.

Costa was hired as a substitute, even though he had a criminal record in South Carolina.
