Opponents of a plan to build more than three dozen wind turbines near Lake Ontario say they were silenced at a community forum hosted by the developer, Apex Clean Energy.The group Save Ontario Shores says spontaneous questions were not allowed during the forum last night in Orleans County. The group says questions had to be submitted in writing and were screened by a moderator. The group says Apex has been dismissive of its concerns about what the wind turbines could do to the local environment.The Town boards in Yates and Somerset have already passed resolutions against the wind turbine project.
