Doctors Urging New Yorkers to Get Their Flu Shots

Doctors are urging New Yorkers to get their flu shots.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 80-thousand people died nationwide during the last flu season.  That was the highest number in 40 years.

Experts say it's too soon right now to project how severe this year's flu will be, but they don't expect there to be a vaccine shortage. It's suggested everyone six months and older get a flu shot.
