The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says negotiators were able to persuade a Rochester man who was threatening suicide, to surrender.
He was taken into custody around nine o'clock last night, at the end of a four-hour standoff in Ellison Park.
Blossom Road was reopened, and the man was taken to Strong for an evaluation. The man was in a pickup truck and was legally armed with a rifle.
