Orleans County Sheriff's deputies have arrested three people after a violent confrontation in the Town of Clarendon. Deputies had gone yesterday to a home in the hamlet of Bennett's Corners for a report of a family dispute.
Elizabeth Klaver was reportedly ramming her boyfriend's vehicle with her own. Deputies say her mother, D'Ann Klaver fought with them. And they say another relative, Andrew Klaver, pointed a loaded rifle at them, and had to be subdued with a stun gun. He's charged with menacing an officer, illegal possession of a gun and harassment. The women are charged with obstructing deputies and other charges.
