Arrest In Hamlin Double Homicide

Hamlin, NY -- Investigators have made an arrest in the double homicide September 10 in Hamlin.

Nineteen-year-old Mason Earle of Hamlin is charged with two counts of second-degree murder in the shooting deaths of Alexander Burrow of Clarkson and Bruce Kane of Sweden.

The bodies were found in a burned-out car on King Street.

Sheriff Todd Baxter says Earle waived his right to remain silent and confessed to the shootings. Baxter says Earle knew the other men and shooting was related to drugs -- specifically marijuana.

Earle pleaded not guilty during an appearance Thursday night in Hamlin Town Court.
