The Irondequoit Town Planning Board has approved a plan to put senior housing at the former Medley Centre mall -- now called Skyview on the Ridge.
Pathstone Corporation plans to convert the former Sears into 72 apartments and build a five story apartment building next door -- with another 96 apartments. The buildings will be connected by a skywalk and there will be covered parking.
Construction could start as soon as next spring.
