Manchester Town Court Justice Resigns

A Town Court justice in Manchester who admitted pocketing more than $8,000 in traffic fines paid to the town has resigned.

Erika Martin resigned today, with more than a year remaining in her current term. She pleaded guilty in April to larceny and fraud scheme charges and was ordered to make restitution.

She has promised to never to be a judge again. The state Judicial Conduct commission has ended its proceedings against her.
