Irondequoit police are saying more about the threat that caused concern at Irondequoit High School.
Police say the school and the community are safe and the threat by a student was non-specific. Charges are possible, and the student may face suspension. The security concern was spotted on social media and reported yesterday to the Safe School Helpline. The student was questioned.
The West Irondequoit superintendent says the system worked as it should.
