Cynthia Nixon is threatening to hold off on endorsing Governor Cuomo for re-election unless he comes clean about a controversial mailer sent during the Democratic primary campaign.
It implied that Nixon, who's raising her children Jewish, is anti-Semitic and it was paid for by the New York Democratic Party -- which is pretty much controlled by Governor Cuomo. At first, Cuomo's people blamed the Party, then an unnamed staffer.
But it turns out a Cuomo confidant, Larry Schwartz, approved it and Cuomo's GOP challenger, Marc Molinaro, wants him fired over it.
