Charges Added In Vehicular Homicide Case

Rochester, NY -- Prosecutors have brought additional charges against a woman charged in February with driving drunk and running over two pedestrians -- killing one of them.

A superseding indictment reflects the results of toxicology tests showing Chermasia Collins was impaired by marijuana, in addition to alcohol, when she drove onto a sidewalk along Lyell Avenue and hit the men.

The impact killed Jordan Askew and injured Alex Kunz.

Collins has pleaded not guilty.

The charges include aggravated vehicular homicide, manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, assault and DWI.
