Rochester's planned Golisano Autism Center is getting a $500,000 state grant.
The Center will be located on South Avenue near Science Parkway and will serve 10,000 residents with shared program spaces, a sensory gym, classrooms, and therapy rooms.
Tom Golisano plans to match the first $2.5 million raised for the project to help cover the $5 million cost.
