A Farmington man is facing charges after authorities say he made false statements about sex abuse involving a developmentally disabled person, at a group home in Gorham.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says Martin Gray, who was working as a Support Staff Trainee for Finger Lakes Developmental Disabilities Services Organization, told his supervisor that a resident was being sexually abused by another support staff member.
Following an investigation, the allegations of sexual abuse were proven to have never occurred. Gray has been charged with falsely reporting an incident.
