A grand jury indicted a Rochester man accused of killing a 101-year-old woman last week. Greg Jesmer, 54, was indicted on one felony count of second-degree murder in the death of Marica Morrison. Police said Jesmer stabbed Morrison to death inside her apartment on Green Knolls Drive on July 24. He lived in the apartment above her, neighbors said. Morrison is one of the oldest murder victims in recorded U.S. history. Jesmer is facing additional charges for allegedly trying to pay a 13-year-old girl to come home with him. A bystander intervened and called police. After that call officers were able to connect Jesmer to the murder.
