Most of the residents at an assisted living complex in Irondequoit are back in their rooms, following a fire yesterday evening. The fire broke out around 8 p.m. in a second floor unit at the Shire at Culverton. Irondequoit Town Supervisor Dave Seeley says the fire was contained by a newly-installed sprinkler system. 160 residents were evacuated, and about 20 were unable to return to their rooms. Most were being moved to other units in the complex. There's no word on the cause of the fire and there is no damage estimate.
