UPDATE: Downed Power Lines Reported in Henrietta

(UPDATE 5:58p 7/23/18)

The following update comes from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

The clean up efforts are continuing on Lehigh Station Road between East Henrietta Road and Masthead Way.  The road is still closed at this time however RGE is working to clear a path on for local residents to return to their homes.  New poles are on scene and are being installed.  MCSO is coordinating with Red Cross to provide any assistance needed for the local residents.  If anyone is in need of assistance we are asking that they call 911. We are lifting the shelter in place however we would like to remind the public that although the power has been shut off, there are still safety concerns and we would therefore ask the public to avoid the area.

=================================================================

Several power lines are down in Henrietta.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says Lehigh Station Rd. is closed between E. Henrietta Rd. & Pinnacle Rd. after a dump truck apparently brought down the lines.

Authorities say the driver of the dump truck is trapped in the vehicle.

 We are working to learn more.
