Gov. Cuomo Urging State Senators to Pass Speed Camera Legislation

Governor Cuomo is urging state senators to return to Albany to pass speed camera legislation.

More than two dozen speed cameras outside New York City schools will go dark in five days unless the Senate takes action.  Cuomo is accusing the Republican majority of putting politics over the lives of children.

A DOT analysis shows crashes are down 15-percent and traffic fatalities are down 55-percent in school zones where cameras are used.
