Jury Finds Allen Guilty

Danielle Allen has been found guilty of second degree Manslaughter by a jury in Livingston County.

Allen was accused of stabbing her boyfriend, Marcus Postell, to death in November of 2016. They two had gotten into a fight in their apartment in York. The defense argued Allen acted in self defense, but the prosecution brought testimony that Postell had likely been sitting on a sofa when he was stabbed, not fighting with Allen.

She'll be sentenced on September 25th and could face five-to-25 years in prison.
