Waterloo Shooting Suspect Arraigned

Waterloo shooting suspect Emerson Tohafjian pled "not guilty" this afternoon on two counts of second degree murder. He'll be held without bail pending a preliminary hearing next Thursday afternoon.

That hearing may be waived, as the Seneca County District Attorney has said his case will go to a grand jury.

New York State Police have identified the woman killed by Tohafjian Tuesday night as Lori McConnell. They haven't yet released the ID of the male victim who was shot to death along with McConnell in an apartment on Virginia Street in Waterloo.

Police say the woman who survived the shooting is Karen Zdunko, a friend of McConnell's.
