West Irondequoit School District Superintendent Retiring

The Superintendent of the West Irondequoit School District is retiring.

The school board announced today that Jeffrey Crane will retire effective January 1, 2019.

Crane has worked in the district for over 21 years, first as Irondequoit High School Principal, and the last 15 as the Superintendent. Crane says his years in the district have been fulfilling, adding "Please know how much I will always value being a part of the tradition of excellence that is the West Irondequoit Central School District.”

The school board says they will update the public soon on the next steps of selecting the next superintendent.
