The city of Rochester wants to remind drivers that several streets and bridges will be closed from six a.m. tomorrow until two a.m. Thursday for the July 4th holiday.
The closings are as follows:
- Main Street, from St. Paul Street to State Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, to 2 a.m., Thursday, July 5.
- Court Street Bridge, from Exchange Blvd to South Ave, will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 4. No parking will be allowed on the bridge anytime on Wednesday, July 4.
- Broad Street Bridge, from Exchange Blvd to South Ave, will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 4. No parking will be allowed on the bridge anytime on Wednesday, July 4.
- The Frank and Janet Lamb Sister Cities Bridge will be closed from 6 to 11 p.m.
- Eastern side of the Genesee Riverway Trail from the Time Warner Cable building to South Avenue will close from 1 to 10:30 p.m.
- No stopping will be allowed on the Inner Loop or I-490.
