The former special ed student who threatened East High School in a Facebook post has admitted doing it, but now has been detained as an illegal immigrant.
Twenty-one-year-old Abigail Hernandez pleaded guilty yesterday to a misdemeanor and is expected to be sentenced to time served an probation. Her family expected to welcome her home yesterday, but she was arrested by Immigration agents as she left the courtroom.
She was brought by her mother to the U.S. from Mexico when she was a child. She received her high school diploma in jail earlier this week.
