Xerox is responding to the lawsuit filed last week by Fujifilm.
Xerox CEO John Visentin has sent a letter to the Fujifilm Chairman saying it was Fujifilm's mismanagement of accounting issues at Fuji Xerox that led to the cancellation of the merger deal announced in January.
Fujifilm alleges in the lawsuit that it was Xerox that breached the agreement. Visentin calls the lawsuit "a desperate and misguided negotiating ploy to save their takeover attempt." And Xerox says it taking steps to protect its supply chain.
