The state's top Democrat has named his choice in the 4-way Democratic Party primary in the 25th Congressional District.
Governor Cuomo is endorsing state Assembly Majority Leader Joe Morelle. Cuomo calls Morelle "a proven leader" and says he has a "strong record of standing up for progressive values and moving New York forward..."
Morelle's opponents in the primary are Rochester City Councilman Adam McFadden, Brighton Town Board member Robin Wilt and former TV reporter Rachel Barnhart.
The primary is Tuesday.
