Ground will be broken Thursday at 11 a.m. for the Golisano Training Center on the Nazareth College campus.
Plans call for an indoor track, courts and training facilities for the fitness of all Nazareth students and will also accommodate athletes who compete in Special Olympics.
Billionaire Tom Golisano is chipping in one-third of the $23 million dollar construction cost.
Special Olympics International Chairman Tim Shriver, special Olympians and Golisano will take part in the groundbreaking ceremony.
