Vice President Mike Pence joined NewsRadio WHAM 1180's Bob Lonsberry Tuesday morning. Pence explains how President Donald Trump is using tariffs to protect American jobs and workers.
"Over the first 500 days we've cut taxes, rolled back regulations, and advanced policies that have literally seen tens of billions of dollars reinvested into this economy," Pence said.
He also discussed employment numbers from last week that show record low unemployment levels for both African-Americans and Latinos.
The vice president also talks about relief efforts in Puerto Rico, his admiration for and memories of Bobby Kennedy, and the importance of prayer in his personal life and in the administration of Donald Trump.
