Portion of I-390 in Brighton and Henrietta to be Repaved

A near-$2 million repaving project is getting underway on I-390 in Brighton and Henrietta.

The road is getting resurfaced between the Thruway and the Erie Canal. The $1.8 million project will repave both sides of the five-mile stretch.

The Lehigh Station Road northbound ramp will be re-striped to improve traffic flow. Most of the work and the lane closures will be done in the overnight hours.

The State Transportation Department says there will be no rush-hour lane closures.
