Police in Batavia are investigating after a stabbing and shooting. Police said one person was found stabbed on the side of the road just before midnight on Central Avenue. A second victim was found shot and taken to United Memorial Medical Center with serious injuries. Police said one of the victims died in the hospital, but have not disclosed which victim. Police say there was a disturbance in the area prior to the incident. Police are looking for a red SUV that fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call the Tipline at (585) 345-6370.
