Changes are in store for commuters using Route 31 near Brockport.
The state transportation department is closing the westbound lanes today from Washington Street to the 531 eastbound ramp. It's part of the ongoing project to reconfigure the end of Route 531.
Traffic will be detoured until the fall. The project will widen Route 31 and create center medians, to make the road safer.
