A bi-partisan state legislative committee begins the search tomorrow for someone to serve as state Attorney General for the rest of the year.
Sixteen people have applied for the job -- including the current acting Attorney General, state Solicitor Barbara Underwood. Public interviews start tomorrow afternoon and will continue Wednesday.
Candidates will have the opportunity to make an opening statement and will field questions from members of the committee.
Governor Cuomo says he plans to meet with some of the candidates and may make an endorsement.
