Longtime journalist Mike Hedeen has died at the age of 64 after a battle with cancer. Hedeen worked what is now known as Spectrum News for nearly 30 years. He began his career in the sports department, but transitioned to news in 2006. Hedeen retired from Spectrum last year. "Mo," as he was often referred to, is survived by his wife, son and and daughter, his son-in-law and his granddaughter.
