The woman whose body was discovered this week on Rochester's west side has been identified.
Rochester police say the victim is 36-year-old Nichole Blackwell of Rochester. Her body was found Tuesday afternoon in an empty lot, between two commercial buildings, in the 200 block of Whitney Street.
Authorities are still working to determine a cause of death.
